The Children's end of term Christmas Parties will be held as follows:-

For St Philips:- On Tuesday 10th December

For Pitt Street:- On Wednesday 11th December

The children will all take part in our Christmas Play held in each of the nursery as follows:-

Pitt Street - on Tuesday 10th December at 10.30am in the school hall.

St Philips - on Wednesday 11th December at 10.30am in St Philips Church.

Every year for the past few years we have taken part in 'Operation Christmas Child', the world's largest Christmas project.  The idea is to decorate  and fill with new, practical gifts a medium sized shoe box, place a £3 donation and secure box with an elastic band.  It is a lovely idea to decorate and discuss with your child what you may place in the box, deciding if it is to go to a boy or a girl and of which age group.  The boxes are then dropped off at school by latest 14th November.  Samaritan's Purse, the charity that handles Operation Christmas will then send the boxes to children in need around the world.  The children at Little Cherubs watch a short film at nursery which shows them where and to whom the shoeboxes go.  It helps them to appreciate our lives of plenty and be compassionate towards those in need.

Every term, just before we break up for half term, the children put on a little show.  They have been busy practising songs and we would love to invite the parents to come and watch on Friday 18th October 2013 at 11.50am.

Thank you to the children for bringing in their teddy bears and thank you to the teachers who with the children prepared the picnic. A huge thank you also to the parents for their wonderful generosity. We managed to raise £1277 for a worthy cause that is close to our hearts and a great time was also had by all.

Official School Photos will be taken by professional photographers on 15 May at our Abingdon Road Nursery and on 20 May at our Pitt Street Nursery. Photos will include a whole school photo, class photo, child's individual photo with and without school smock and sibling photo for pupils with siblings at school. You may then order these online directly from the photographer.
